This is the 19th post in the Japanese Asana Community Advent Calendar 2024. It’s my first time translating a video where Dustin speaks at length. It was fascinating to see his opinions on various topics, not just on Asana. Among all the subtitles I’ve translated so far, this was the most challenging, as a non-native English speaker. When I first watched the video, I could only understand about 30% of it. Still, I felt that he was saying something truly significant, so I decided to make it my task for the Advent Calendar this year. The translation process was an immersive experience, I felt I was deeper than anyone else in the world. Two years ago, I translated a lecture given by Justin.
